Christmas is a time that we tend to focus on the giving of gifts. However, Christmas for many is a time of sadness as loved ones who are no longer living are remembered. "Peace and goodwill to all mankind" doesn't seem like a reality for a Christmas promise as we look at Afghanistan, the Middlle East, the execution of police officers, and senseless traffic fatalities at the hand of a self-centered drunken driver. In the midst of all of this, Advent, the season of Christ's coming is a reminder that God provides us gifts each and every year. These gifts realign our emotions, refocus our sights, and renew our hope. Pastors Victor and Greg will open up "God's Gifts At Christmas, an Advent sermon series on the Sundays before Christmas and Christmas Eve. The "gifts" are listed below.
